My New Website
My New Website
I want to point this Google Sites page to www.leveragedeffect.com andd have it load.
Go to Google Sites.
Create a new site and build your simple static page.
Publish it. By default, it will publish under a sites.google.com address (e.g., https://sites.google.com/view/your-site).
Google Sites allows you to map a custom domain you already own:
In your Google Site, click the Settings gear → Custom domains.
Select Start setup.
Choose Use a domain from a third party (if your domain is with GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) or Buy a new domain if you don’t already own one.
Enter your domain name (e.g., www.yourdomain.com).
Google will guide you through updating your DNS records at your domain registrar. Typically this means:
Adding a CNAME record for www pointing to ghs.googlehosted.com.
Optionally adding A records if you want the non-www root (yourdomain.com) to also point to your site.
Google will ask you to verify that you own the domain, usually by adding a TXT record at your registrar.
Once verified, Google Sites will connect your domain to your site.
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours, but often are live in a few hours.
After propagation, visiting your domain will show your Google Site.
